Save the Date: 3rd Annual Georgetown University Center for Healthy Aging Symposium: July 10, 2024

The Georgetown Center for Healthy Aging, the Aging and Alzheimer’s Research Training Program, the Georgetown Aging & Health Program, and the Georgetown Lombardi Institute for Cancer and Aging Research are pleased to sponsor our third annual symposium. 

Date: Wednesday, July 10th, 2024
Venue: Fisher Colloquium, Hariri Building, McDonough School of Business
Time: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

This event is an opportunity to gather with colleagues, share information about current and planned aging-related research and projects, describe available resources, and stimulate the formation of new teams to address the challenges of an aging society. The day will include:

  • Posters
  • Oral Talks
  • Flash talks
  • Topical breakout sessions
  • Networking opportunities
  • Lunch and a wine and cheese reception 

This event will be hybrid (in-person and online) for participants. The Symposium is open to faculty, students, staff, community organizations, and agencies AT NO COST. Topics may include aging-related research and programs related to aging (e.g., describing and evaluating a community service program, training program, fellowship program, or resources available to support aging). Abstracts may focus on basic, clinical, population, social, behavioral, and policy sciences.
